The rapid growth in the South Lake County area has made it clear by many in our community that there was a need for a spiritual home here and so Congregation Sinai was formed in June of 2003.

Congregation Sinai serves as a house of prayer, a house of assembly and a house of study in which the spectrum of Jewish expression is cultivated, protected and nurtured.

Congregation Sinai is an egalitarian, multi-generational congregation that warmly welcomes diversity, spirituality and community.

We strive to educate adults and children in Judaism's rich heritage and contemporary significance, sharing Jewish rituals and values from generation to generation.

The congregation provides a warm spiritual environment for the observance of Jewish traditions and the celebration of all our members' life cycle events as well as embrace K'Lal Yisrael (Unity of the Jewish Community) by strengthening our link to Worldwide Jewry and the state of Israel.

Our congregation comforts and cares for others with compassionate humility through the fulfillment of commandments, deeds of loving kindness and charitable acts within and outside the community.

The synagogue welcomes all with open arms and hearts at our services.

We conduct a Shabbat Service every Friday at 7:45pm.  We also conduct a Youth Shabbat Service.  See our calendar for the dates, times and directions.
